As a postpartum doula, we help the mother with:
 

• Lactation Support & Bottle Feeding Support

• Emotional & Physical recovery

• Light Meal Prep for Postpartum Healing 

• Guidance on Baby Gear: (breast pump or carrier)

• Information & Support for Newborn Care 

• Share Coping Skills for New Parents

• Assist with Light Housework

• Support for Older Siblings.

Our main goal is to nurture and support the mother so that she can nurture and mother her family.

 

This might look like preparing a hot meal for mom, helping her get a shower and a nap, or sharing soothing techniques for the infant.
